Made By Magazine - Supporting Ingenious Gifts Small UK Independent Makers and Artists

Andrew Spackman founded Ingenious Gifts in 2019, inspired by a deeply personal experience – his son’s mother was diagnosed with a brain tumour. What began as a way to raise funds and awareness for families facing similar challenges has grown into a thriving marketplace. Today, Ingenious Gifts showcases over 2,000 products and supports more than 40 small, independent, and ethical businesses. Every seller subscription directly contributes to raising funds for The Brain Tumour Charity.

“A crisis can ignite powerful change. For me, it sparked a dream – to build something meaningful. Helping others succeed in their business journeys and achieve their goals has become an incredibly fulfilling part of my life.”

About Us

The latest chapter in this journey is Made By Magazine – a free publication dedicated to celebrating the creative community behind Ingenious Gifts. Through the magazine, Andrew aims to spotlight the talented makers and artists who bring the platform to life, while further empowering small UK businesses and strengthening community connections.

“With creativity and purpose at the heart of what I do, my goal is to offer life-changing opportunities, support those who’ve walked a similar path, and give back to the causes that matter. Ingenious Gifts is a tribute to the extraordinary talents of others – a place where creativity meets compassion. I believe that makers deserve recognition, support, and love. There’s nothing more rewarding than lifting others up.”
