From a Difficult Beginning to Jewellery with Purpose
Poppy had always enjoyed making things, from paper crafts and cross-stitch to jewellery. However, it was during her recovery from a nervous breakdown that creativity began to take on a much deeper meaning.
As she slowly started to feel more like herself again, Poppy returned to jewellery making. What began as something grounding gradually developed into Popsy Jewellery Design.
She became fascinated by Morse code and its ability to hide a powerful personal message inside something beautiful. Later, she developed her discreet fidget bracelets—tactile jewellery designed to look like an ordinary bracelet while offering gentle movement for restless hands.

Poppy is the maker behind Popsy Jewellery Design, creating tactile bracelets and Morse code jewellery inspired by mental wellbeing, resilience and the meaning we attach to the things we wear.
Her business grew from her own experience of returning to creativity during a difficult period in her life. Since then, Poppy has continued making through health setbacks, self-doubt and the quieter challenges of running a small business from home.
The messages she receives from customers remind her why the work matters. Her jewellery is often chosen to mark a difficult journey, send encouragement or help someone carry a private reminder with them.
