Recycled Notebook – Handmade A5 Journal with Cheeky Typed Cover

This ready-to-ship recycled notebook is perfect for anyone who loves stationery with personality. The cover features a cheeky note typed on my vintage typewriter (her name is Dorothy!), and each one is individually hand-painted and hand-stitched using contrasting linen thread. Designed to lay beautifully flat, it’s an ideal journal for left-handed writers too.

Use it as your daily journal, creative notebook, or gift it to a writer, student, or eco-conscious friend.

Eco-Conscious Materials

This recycled notebook is crafted with sustainability at its heart:

  • Cover: Heavy cotton paper made from textile industry waste, giving it a wonderfully tactile finish.
  • Pages: 100% post-consumer waste, recycled cartridge paper. At 140gsm, the pages are thick, smooth, and perfect for writing, sketching, ink, charcoal, and fountain pens.

Size: Approx. A5 (14cm x 20cm) with 80 blank pages.

Handmade With Care

Every recycled notebook is made by me—hi, I’m Michaela!
I hand-paint each cover, type the text on my beloved vintage Baby Hermes typewriter, and then stitch every notebook together by hand. Your book comes wrapped with a recycled paper band explaining the eco-friendly materials used.

I’m based in the UK and post via Royal Mail.

Shipping Policy

UK ORDERS
Are sent via first class. I buy my postage online and so your order will have a qr code that is scanned on posting and delivery with a GPS fix.

Typically orders arrive within 1-2 days but this isn’t guaranteed.
If it hasn’t arrived 2 weeks after I have posted it, please do let me know so that I can open an investigation with Royal Mail for you. If it still in the Royal Mail system they will consider it lost and issue compensation so that I can either fully refund you or remake and send again.

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:

Buyers are responsible for return postage costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
