Not only do we support local, independent and ethical businesses, but every seller subscription made through our site helps raise funds for The Brain Tumour Charity: a cause that’s incredibly close to our hearts.
We don’t claim to be the world’s leading online marketplace, but we do promise to provide shopping and selling experiences that are values-led rather than contributing to the profits of global giants.
So, who is behind Ingenious Gifts?
My name is Andrew, and I launched Ingenious Gifts as a legacy and life-long support for my son Lewis. When Lewis was just six months old, his mother received the devastating diagnosis of a brain tumour. This had a massive and immediate impact on our family – every day we are immensely grateful to have experienced a full recovery.
Creating Ingenious Gifts provided a huge amount of focus and motivation during a very difficult time. Going forwards, I wanted to find a way of supporting other families facing similar challenges.
That’s why every seller subscription made on my online marketplace provides a donation to The Brain Tumour Charity; funding their work finding new treatments, offering support to sufferers, and driving urgent change.
We built more than a marketplace
Like many platforms, we started with a simple idea – to support independent makers.
But we quickly realised something:
Great products don’t get seen just by being listed online.
So we built something more.
Ingenious Gifts is now a connected visibility platform – combining a handmade marketplace with video storytelling, magazine features, and real-world discovery.
