Gunpowder Tea – SCENT THROW – MEDIUM/STRONG
(Previously called Gunpowder Plot)
Top Notes: Gunpowder tea, damp soil, raw woods and mineral accords
Heart Notes: Spicy ginger and earthy patchouli
Base Notes: Cedar and Vetiver
This is a rich, smoky & heady blend, with layers of fragrance. We think it’s strong and atmospheric and the perfect scent for the coming Autumn months. We have noticed on testing, that as it burns, different elements reveal themselves and it slowly releases all the different scent notes in this complex but beautiful blend.
Scent throw is very personal – what one person perceives as strong, another may find less so. Our scent throw guide is merely that, a guide from our own personal sense of smell. Please bear this in mind when purchasing candles and tealights. Start off with a smaller room, perhaps keep the door closed. Leaving and re-entering the room can often re-programme the nose to pick up the scent better.
Vegan friendly, cruelty-free, paraben and silicon-free fragrance oil. Our oils do not contain any animal derivatives and are not tested on animals. We use blended oils which include natural and essential elements.
Medium 180ml jar – Burntime around 35 hours (8 x 6.5cms)
Large 220ml jar – Burntime around 45 hours (9 x 7cms)
We use natural sustainable soy wax which gives a soot-free, clean burn. Regularly trimming your wick to 5mm and allowing the wax to form a full melt-pool will help give you the best possible burn performance from your candle and avoid tunnelling. Allow the candle to burn for up to 4 hours at a time (treat size no longer than 2 hours), extinguishing carefully and trimming the wick for the next burn. The candle will burn down to approximately 1 cms, when it is finished. It can then be washed out with warm soapy water and the jar re-used or recycled.
