I have a profound affection for bold, vibrant colours featured in many of our designs, ranging from gentle pastels to a dynamic mix of neon pinks, oranges, and greens that infuse a touch of uniqueness and flair. Our pieces draw inspiration from the carefree spirit of the 80’s and the laid-back vibe of surf culture.
My passion for outdoor extreme sports fashion—like surfing, skateboarding, and snowboarding—alongside vivid gym wear, drives the design of our earrings. They embody the same spirit of fun and adventure as these styles.
The inception of Violet Pineapple was a creative fusion of my husband’s and my talents. The name was whimsically chosen after our child doodled it on a notebook, capturing the essence of our brand in two simple words.
Both artists at heart, my husband and I pursued art degrees—myself in textile and surface pattern design and my husband in graphic design. Although my day job as a dental nurse may not be creative, crafting beautiful, unique pieces with my husband is a truly rewarding experience.
Inspired by polymer clay earrings I once purchased, I began crafting my own to satisfy my craving for more colours and styles. Each pair is like an abstract painting, gaining its own personality as I add colours and layers. The results are often delightfully unexpected.
